FUN FUCHSIA WEDDING INSPIRATION
Since the time of people first getting married and weddings becoming tradition, pink has been a part of the party. Although the images from historical weddings are in black and white, brides incorporated the rosey hue in their flowers, bridesmaids, and even their own gown.
Now days pink isn't what it used to be. Instead of a muted, light and romantic color, you have neons, and mixes with shades of purple and reds. Fuchsia, a pink color named after the Fuchsia plant, is much more popular with weddings, being vibrant and bright. Also, because of it's vibrance, men can pull it off easier, and more comfortably.
1. Fuchia really stands out against white. Whether on a cake, as your shoes under your wedding gown, it'll be seen!
2. Luckily, this color isn't too hard to come by. Flowers, fabric, favor boxes, candy, etc. are all available in this popular shade. Definitely a plus if you're in need of color matching many items.
3. Our roommate's wedding a few weeks ago included fuchsia (with lime as the supporting color). I absolutely love the bridesmaid dresses. They were long, with different materials dividing up the body. (This picture is from the wedding.)
And in case you're unsure of what flowers come in the lovely hue, here's a sample:
Hot Pink/Fuchsia is going to be massive for weddings in 2011! Themed with black here, it is simply eye catching and quite unusual! Beautiful and strong, the warmth of the colour can really be carried in any season! :) If you'd like me to create an inspiration board for your wedding colour (or colours if you are having a tough time choosing! :D) email me at budgetwedding@live.ie
